Our vision is to create a safe, cohesive, actively involved group in which we mutually support one another on an ongoing basis toward our common goals of becoming the best EFT therapists we can be and of extending ourselves to the clinical as well as the lay community in sharing the effectiveness of this powerful approach.
EFT is an empirically validated humanistic and short term psychotherapeutic approach to working with couples originated by Sue Johnson, Ed.D.
As a community committed to excellence in EFT training, we offer all levels of instruction: introductions to the model, externships, core skills, advanced trainings, workshops on working with trauma and infidelity as well as other special topics.
We also have listings of local Certified EFT therapists. All of these professionals have completed the Externship and are members of ICEEFT. Those certified in EFT are listed first. For more information about any of the professionals listed, please contact them directly.
